How we handle the personal data you share with us, in plain words.
LxryVintage, Koning Boudewijnlaan 20A, 3500 Hasselt, Belgium (company number 1015.918.117), is responsible for the personal data you share through this website. We handle it in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Name, e-mail address and phone number
- Delivery and billing address for orders
- The details and photos you send us when offering a watch or asking a question
We may also collect data that does not identify you, such as your browser type, IP address, operating system and the website you came from.
Why we use it
To carry out your order or request, to handle the agreement we make with you and to meet our legal obligations. If we send you news or offers, you can object to that at any time, free of charge.
Who we share it with
We treat your data as confidential and never sell or rent it to third parties. We only share what is needed with the partners that help us deliver your order, such as our shipping partners FedEx and UPS and our payment provider Stripe.
Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). Your card or bank details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us; we only receive confirmation of the payment. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Order data for as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires; other data no longer than needed for the purpose it was shared for.
Statistics and cookies
The site uses the cookies it needs to work, such as those for your bag and checkout. At checkout, Stripe sets cookies of its own to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud.
With your consent we also use statistics cookies, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how the website is used. You give or refuse that consent in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for one year. Without consent no statistics cookies are placed.
Your rights
You can ask which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Send your request to [email protected]; we may ask you to confirm your identity. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
